The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles.
